Tom French has over a decade of experience working in the charity, voluntary and social enterprise sector.
He supports people to use data and evaluation techniques to tell stories about impact. He has a particular interest in facilitating change within organisations through understanding and fostering a learning culture.
Tom helps us evaluate our various projects to enable us to measure the impact we are having on individual lives. He helps us to show how projects such as the Balanced Lives Programme make a hugely positive difference to the lives of older people. He collates the evidence that contributes to the wider understanding of how we're reaching our goals, accessing the impact of our Physical, Mental and Social wellbeing programmes.
Tom is a mathematics graduate and started out his professional career as a teacher. He had a spell as a data analyst in the financial services sector before deciding to apply his skill set to organisations and projects with a social purpose.
Tom is a keen musician too, playing bass, guitar, drums and piano in bands in Sheffield, specialising in 'dirty funk' grooves.
