Action for Elders in conjunction with Swansea Council and Swansea Ageing Well bring you an outdoor festival with a difference on the beach by the Secret Bar & Kitchen, Swansea from midday to 4pm on Wednesday 10th August.

Join us for an afternoon of beach games, sandcastle building, live music from Steve Sax and Trim Bling plus some rather innovative beach activities for the older people of Swansea.

Our tech expert Adrian Scott has provided a wide range of technical help ranging from connection issues to help with laptops and mobile phones. He has visited people in their homes, provided phone support and face-to-face help at our Balanced Lives Exercise programme locations. Now he’s adding the beach to his large list of venues. So come along, enjoy the day and solve all your digital problems.

Fun Festival – Serious Message

The Beach Festival is a fun event with a serious message. With the cost of living crisis causing social, mental and economic hardship for so many older people, this is a positive celebration of later life that brings people together in the community.
