Reconnecting with the local community.

In partnership with Swansea City Council we have organised a special Christmas Party with a sit-down lunch for more than 200 older people of Swansea on Wednesday 24th November. The party takes place at prestigious Brangwyn Hall, home of some amazing live events and used in the filming of Doctor Who with David Tenant. This summer Tom Hardy was pictured at the venue for his forthcoming Netflix movie Havoc.

This will be a fun-filled afternoon of food, entertainment and there will even be a visit from the real Santa Claus. Last year was a very tough one for members of Swansea’s older community, many of whom suffered from anxiety and loneliness. We are putting on an event that will enable people to celebrate Christmas properly, with friends old new, to share stories of their journey through lockdown and beyond. This will be something to remember for a very long time and set people up for the winter and New Year.

Getting Back Out There

This is a big event, but it will be a fun one with an opportunity to enjoy social interaction and meet new friends. It’s time to celebrate being able to get together again. It’s time for Getting Back Out There!
