Volunteer to become an ActionEER
About the opportunity
Have you ever thought of becoming a volunteer? So many of us want to help others and although we think about volunteering, we don’t always know the right way to go about it. Why not volunteer at Action For Elders and make a lasting difference to the lives of older people in your local community?
Our Volunteers or ‘ActionEERs’ are the lifeline of our Balanced Lives Programmes When you volunteer for us you will learn new skills, meet new friends and make a real difference to the lives of people in your area. You will be doing something incredible.
Contact us now and we will put you in touch with the local volunteering hub in your area. We are looking for people with a wide range of abilities and interests, from beginners to those with vast experience, so if you have a special skill or interest, let us know.
Taster Sessions
If you are new to volunteering, we can guide you through the simple process. Come along and see the incredible difference that volunteers can make. You may be surprised at how quickly you will fit in and how rewarding volunteering can be in your community.
Community Champions
Whatever your level of experience, skillset or interests; you can help us to help older people have a happier, healthier later life. And you may become the recipient of one of our own ‘Community Champion’ Awards.
