The Ospreys visit Swansea
The rugby stars were a huge hit with our Balanced Lives participants when they dropped into their Christmas Party at Sketty, Swansea. They served coffee, hot chocolate and later swapped stories with the older people of Hazel Court ExtraCare scheme.
“I’ll never forget the friendliness and warmth of the Ospreys players. It was as warm and welcome as the hot chocolate they were serving,” quipped Balanced Lives participant Percy
Funded by the Swansea Bay GP Cluster, the local GPs refer patients to the program having seen hugely positive results in patient mobility, social interaction and mental wellbeing.
