Warm Hub Events

Life-changing support for the Older Community.

January can be a difficult month, so we are creating a series of warm and friendly environments for vulnerable older people as part of our Balanced Lives Warm Hubs community initiative.

Our Balanced Lives programmes move into 2023 with two exciting and inspiring full day events in Wales. The Hubs proved to be a huge success and a valuable lifeline for older people during December. Now we are bringing people together for two very special weekly events that offer life-changing opportunities for the older community.

“We recognise that people need a wide range of support to get them through the winter.”
John Coleman, Communications Director, Action For Elders

Challenging Times

The early months of the year can be a very challenging time for those in later life, especially with the extraordinary hardship caused by the current cost of living crisis. We recognise that people need a wide range of support; so providing an opportunity to exercise, socialise and learn new life skills in a warm and friendly environment could mean the difference between starting the year in good or bad health, both mentally and physically.
